2009 ADOT DBE Conference

Here’s your opportunity to give yourself the added edge you need in this economy.  Don’t miss out on the 5th Annual ADOT DBE conference.

With the passage of the President’s new economic stimulus plan you will want to be prepared for how this package can benefit your business.

Come to the conference and attend the Breakfast Plenary/Community Panel session and hear from representatives at the National, State and Local Department of Transportation levels as they and Community Businesses discuss the effects of the stimulus plan.  They will also be discussing the results the recent Disparity study and its effect on the use of minority and woman owned businesses.  In addition, you will have an opportunity to hear about upcoming planned transportation projects in Arizona and your potential role in these projects.

In addition to the Community Panel, this year’s conference will offer 14 workshops all designed to help you succeed in business.  After a sit down lunch in the dining area, you won’t want to miss the Networking Matchmaker event.  Here you have an opportunity to meet with representatives from approximately 30 Prime contracting businesses and hear about upcoming projects that you may want to participate in. You will also have an opportunity to network with other DBEs and small businesses so be sure to bring plenty of business cards.

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, ADOT is able to offer this conference at $25 per participant. That includes all of the sessions and workshops, breakfast, lunch and the Networking event.

Complete the attached registration form and either fax it to the number listed on the form or mail it with your check to the address listed.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the conference.

Sincerely,

Kathi Donato
