So this string walks into a bar and hops up on one of the bar stools and says, “Hey bartender, give me a beer.”

Bartender looks at the string and says, “Sorry, we don’t serve strings here.”

Rejected, the string leaves the bar, but the next day decides he’ll try something different. He ties himself into a knot and frays each of the ends. Then he strolls back into the same bar, hops up on a bar stool and says, “Hey bartender, give me a beer.”
