Lessons for startup

by: Rieva Lesonsky

Stuff happens. That’s one of my mantras. No matter how much we know (or think we know) there’s always something to learn, because life is constantly tossing challenges our way. This is especially true when you first start a business. So even if you set out with a killer idea, you likely will need to make some adjustments along the way. This frightens many startup entrepreneurs. They think they only have one chance to get it right. That’s not true. Don’t be afraid to make changes once you get underway. No business plan should be so inflexible that you can’t alter it as you go. Just make sure, if and when you make changes, that you make them for all the right reasons and do your homework.
